I suspect this sentiment is felt by a lot of people about a LOT of different projects, but people don't admit as much because then it might not be as profitable to flip.

Fwiw: I think the stated mission of @weareflowcarbon is a great one, and I'm very supportive of making carbon markets more efficient by bringing them on-chain.
It's the timing + founder makeup + token design of GNT that makes me worried.

Also will add: I’m a massive fan of teams that can afford to not take venture dollars doing so.
There’s plenty of amazing bootstrapped projects and DAO’s in the space and I’m a part of a lot of them.
This was just an observation not a condemnation
Retail won’t wanna hear this cause hating on VC’s is easy and popular, but most of the big coins that retail traders won big on in the last 2-3 years wouldn’t have gotten off the ground in crypto winter without VC $$$ taking on a lot of risk.

When everyone in retail is on-paper rich and Alts are literally up-only, it’s easy to hate on the “rich VC’s who make free money by being an insider” but when you’re net worth tanks 95+% and you can’t write anymore Angel checks to fund your buddies cool NFT project things change

First day and a half of @Permissionless has been really really great.
